Unetwork, formerly Unity Network, is a composable, people-powered global edge network that transforms phones into a distributed network for telecom and network verification. By utilising a geo-diverse layer of more than 50,000 devices, the platform provides enterprises and carriers with critical visibility where traffic actually flows: at the edge.

Each task tests a different live-network need: device telemetry, caller ID, SMS routing, sender identity, connectivity, route discovery, or route validation. Some tasks are passive. Some require interaction. Some require SIM access.

The core value of Unetwork is the authenticity of its data. Lab environments and synthetic probes provide simulated results, but they cannot replicate the complexity of real-world conditions. Unetwork delivers edge visibility from real devices on real networks, helping carriers and enterprises detect fraud, revenue leakage, and routing issues that are otherwise hard to see from centralized monitoring.

How Tasks Actually Work: The Integrity Path

Every completed task follows a standardized integrity path to create Proof at the Edge. This replaces subjective reporting with verifiable, real-world data captured where traffic flows.

    Device Selection

    The system matches demand to devices by region, network, device capability, task eligibility, and recent reliability.

    Task Execution

    The device performs a specific Proof-of-Work task on a live network, such as reporting inbound CLI call data, verifying SMS message integrity, or collecting telemetry like latency and service reachability.

    Anonymized Data Capture

    The app captures only the technical metadata required to verify the result, such as connection quality, device performance, and signal metrics. Personal identifiable information, contacts, private files, and browsing history are not processed or stored.

    Cryptographic Hashing

    The captured metadata is timestamped and hashed. This creates a unique digital fingerprint of the result so the evidence cannot be altered after the measurement is taken.

    On-Chain Recording

    The cryptographic hash is recorded on World Mobile Chain. This creates a permanent, independent audit trail that allows carriers or enterprises to verify the integrity of the connectivity event.

    • Switch Nodes manage routing and timestamping of telecom packets to anchor verification in time.

    Once a task is successfully validated, the reward is calculated based on the operator's license split and current network demand. Rewards are added to the operator balance. A device that is often offline will miss some assignments. A device that stays consistently reachable is more useful to the network.

Devices on different carriers, regions, and connections are more useful than many devices behind the same local network.

Base requirements for all tasks

  • Active Unetwork license, owned or leased.
  • Android or iOS device capable of running the current Unetwork App.
  • Stable internet connection through WiFi or mobile data.
  • App installed, signed in, and allowed to run in the background.
  • Battery saver, data saver, and aggressive app sleep settings disabled for Unetwork.
  • Enough uptime to remain useful for assignment. Short online windows reduce eligibility.

What gets flagged or devalued

VPN usage

A VPN hides the actual network path. That can make location, carrier, latency, and route evidence unreliable.

Emulators and synthetic setups

Customers need measurements from real phones on real networks. Virtual devices reduce trust because they do not reflect normal device or carrier behavior.

Too many devices on one IP range

Clustering many devices behind the same connection creates duplicate signal. Duplicate signal is less valuable than coverage from independent networks.

Manipulated reporting

Incorrect call, SMS, route, or connection reports damage validation quality. Low-quality evidence can reduce assignment priority or make a result ineligible.

How do I maximize earnings across tasks?

Use a SIM or eSIM device when possible, keep the app online consistently, and avoid clustering many devices on the same internet connection. High uptime improves assignment eligibility, while geo-diverse devices on different carriers create more useful data for the network.

Can I choose which tasks my device runs?

Yes. The Tasks tab in the Unetwork App lets you control task participation. You can opt in to categories such as Caller ID, SMS, Scout, and Runner when they are available, and you can opt out of a task if you do not want your device to perform it.

How many tasks can I run at the same time?

You can run all available task types at the same time. Passive tasks such as Telemetry can run in the background, while active tasks run only when the network has matching demand for your country, carrier, route, or device profile.

Do I need a different device for each task?

No. One smartphone or tablet can perform every task that its hardware, connection type, and app settings support. A SIM-enabled device is needed for the full task set. WiFi-only devices are more limited and are mainly suited to Telemetry and WiFi-based connectivity checks.

Do tasks conflict with each other or slow down my phone?

Unetwork tasks are designed to be lightweight. Passive work runs in the background, and active tasks are triggered only when assigned. Actual battery, CPU, and data use depends on device settings, network conditions, and task volume.

Is my personal data at risk with tasks enabled?

Unetwork tasks are designed around anonymized technical metadata, not personal content. The app uses data needed to verify network behavior, such as connection quality, latency, and task results. It should not need contacts, private files, or browsing history to complete telecom verification tasks.

What happens when new tasks are released?
