Unetwork App Task
Entropy Generation
Entropy means randomness. Unetwork can use real phones to add small, independent signals that help create randomness people can check and trust.

Meaning
What entropy means
Entropy means randomness. Digital systems use random numbers to protect keys, choose fair outcomes, and stop results from being guessed.
When randomness is weak or predictable, systems can be manipulated. Strong entropy makes the foundation harder to cheat.
Real phones
Why real phones help
A single computer is one source of randomness and one point of trust. A distributed network of real phones can add independent signals from many devices, places, and networks.
Each signal is small on its own. When valid signals are checked and combined, they can strengthen a randomness layer that no single party controls.

Network flow
How the task works
- 1
Run a real phone
Use a normal phone with an active Unetwork App license. Opt in from the Tasks tab when Entropy Generation is available.
- 2
Collect tiny variations
The app can collect eligible sensor and device variation while your phone is online, ready, and matched to demand.
- 3
Check and combine
The network can filter weak or suspicious inputs, then combine valid contributions from many independent devices.
- 4
Produce randomness with proof
The result is designed to create randomness that can be checked, instead of asking everyone to trust one central source.

For operators
What this looks like for you
- 1
Enable the task
Opt in when the task appears for your account and region. You should not need special hardware.
- 2
Keep the phone ready
Leave the app signed in, online, and allowed to run in the background.
- 3
Earn when the work is valid
Rewards will depend on eligibility, demand, valid contributions, and final production rules.

Trust
Built for proof
- Uses many independent devices, so one source is harder to control.
- Filters weak or suspicious inputs before combining valid signals.
- Creates an audit trail for how randomness was contributed and produced.
- Can complement cryptographic randomness tools, such as verifiable random functions, by adding real-world inputs.

Privacy
Focused on technical signal
Entropy Generation is about tiny sensor and device variations, not personal content. It should not need your contacts, messages, photos, browsing history, or private files.
Final permissions, validation rules, and reward rules may change as Unetwork publishes the production task details. Always review the in-app instructions before opting in.
