After activation

Understand the basics

Once the license is active, these are the main ideas to know.

What your license means

  • One license activates one device at a time.
  • The license is managed by the operator who provides it.
  • Once active, the app can receive available Unetwork tasks.

How rewards are split

  • Each code can have its own operator split.
  • A 70/30 split means you receive 70% and the license provider receives 30%.
  • Rewards vary by demand, uptime, location, connection quality, and task type.

Your Lease Agreement

Operating a Unetwork License means entering a digital agreement with a Unetwork Node Operator, which you can view at any time in the Unetwork App. Terms are immutable unless a new agreement is signed. Key elements include:

Reward split

Specifies how earnings are divided between you and the Node Operator.

Monthly fee

Clarifies who covers the monthly network fee required to activate and maintain your license.

Lease duration

Defines how long your agreement remains active before renewal.

Minimum Uptime

The minimum uptime required to run the license.

Tasks your device may perform

Active tasks can run today. Beta and inactive tasks may change as the network expands.

Telemetry

Active

Measures service data to and from your device for monitoring and analysis.

Reports data from incoming test calls.

Checks sender ID and message content on live telecom routes.

Discovers and re-validates telecom routes.

Routes eligible operators into Scout and Runner for telecom plan research and route validation.

Entropy Generation

In Beta Testing

Uses real phone signals to help create randomness people can check and trust.

Rewards

Where rewards come from

Service providers pay Unetwork to access edge network data.

  1. 1

    Device Verification

Your device performs a verification task.

  2. 2

    On-Chain Recording

Results are committed on-chain. Only non-sensitive measurements are stored, never personal data.

  3. 3

    Insights Shared

The findings are shared with the service provider so they can identify and resolve network issues.

  4. 4

    Reward Distribution

Service fees are distributed among participants.

Operation and Performance

6 questions
If my phone is connected to Wi-Fi but has no cell service, will Unetwork still work?+
Yes. As long as your phone has an internet connection through Wi-Fi, Unetwork remains online. The app includes a connection indicator so you can confirm your node’s status at any time.
If I install Unetwork, will it affect my calls, texts, or data?+
No. Unetwork runs in the background and does not interfere with calls, messages, or regular mobile data usage.
Does Unetwork use my mobile minutes?+
No. Unetwork uses data, not voice minutes. When connected to Wi-Fi, it does not use mobile data either.

No. Each phone can operate only one active Unetwork License at a time, though you can manage multiple nodes from the same device.
