Scout Role

Discover viable international voice routes by manually dialing APEX-provided test numbers from a dedicated prepaid SIM.

Best for

Choose this if you can buy a dedicated prepaid SIM and are comfortable making manual test calls.

Dedicated SIM only

Never use a personal or daily-use SIM for Scout calling.

Report first

Rewards are for accurate verified reports, not for placing calls alone.

  • Valid Unetwork License Operator status and supported region.
  • Completed KYC. If you already completed KYC in the Unetwork App, it is recognised here.
  • Available for numbers in +1 countries; more countries will come later.
  • Dedicated prepaid SIM or eSIM bought for S&R, not a personal SIM.
  • Lawful SIM use and compliance with carrier rules.
  • Accurate reports that can be checked against backend telecom parameters.

Rules

  • Never use a personal or daily-use SIM.
  • You are rewarded for an accurate verified report, not simply for placing a call.
  • A route is verified only after backend confirmation against telecom parameters.
  • Scout positions are limited to 30 per country and are assigned to the most active Alpha and Beta Scouts.
  • Additional SIMs can be purchased, but they do not qualify for refunds or report-based UP rewards that month.
  • Country and US-state participation caps apply as shown on the platform.
  • Inactive Scout slots may be reallocated after 90 days, with warnings at 60 and 75 days.

Scout rewards

A route is discovered only after backend confirmation.

  • 0.10 UP per verified call report.
  • 0.50 UP full payout for a verification session on one number, up to 5 calls and 5 reports.
  • 5 UP for discovering new access.
  • One eligible SIM refund per carrier per month.
  • 4% ongoing share of Runner minute rewards on the route while it remains active.

SIM refund

  • One eligible SIM refund per carrier per month.
  • Additional SIMs can still be purchased, but they do not qualify for refunds or report-based UP rewards that month.
  • You still receive 5 UP for discovering new access and 4% of Runner call revenue from access you discover.
  • The SIM remains your property.
  • Does not cover overage fees, roaming, or unexpected carrier charges.

SuperScout note

SuperScout is an appointment, not a separate public signup path here.

  • SuperScouts are appointed by APEX to review ScoutQuest submissions and support the S&R community.
  • They may approve, reject, modify, escalate, and flag suspicious submissions.
  • They must act fairly, avoid conflicts, and cannot approve their own submissions.
  • Rewards are 10 UP monthly plus 5 UP per completed moderation action, subject to fraud checks.
  • The separate Super-Scout Program Agreement controls the full role terms.
